Copper works Locomotives:
The Museum Stores is located at the top end of the Landore Park & Ride Car-park. There three small locomotives and a freight cart positioned outside the Museum Stores.
Two of the locomotives have no visible identification plaques, however, one of the locomotives could be identified as a ‘Robert Stephenson’s & Hawthorn of Newcastle Diesel Mechanical Engine’, or a ‘Husky’ as it is also known which is included with operation instructions inside the cab. From this, researched was carried out finding that only 10 ‘Husky’ locomotives were ever made.
